Shifting Beliefs Can Shift Your Life: New Podcast Debuts on Yaktivate.com

April 22nd, 2010

Jan 10, 2010 – What if you could recognize how your perceptions of life influence the choices you make?  What if you could shift those perceptions to make a positive shift in your life?  Yaktivate.com is pleased to welcome a new podcast that looks at those very things.  “Shift Your Beliefs: Shift Your Life” , presented by Barbara Joye, the Shift Guru, addresses many of the major beliefs that may be holding you back from living the life you’re intended to live.  Joye will be addressing these beliefs by interviewing every-day individuals who will share with you their life perspectives before they shifted their belief; how their own belief shift occurred; and the effects on their lives after the belief shift. Joye says, “It is through our perceptions of life, our beliefs, that we experience our own life and the world around us.”

In these changing times, it benefits us to relook at those perceptions and beliefs that are quietly and persuasively running our lives.  It benefits us all to consider the choices we are making, whether consciously or unconsciously, and the resulting impact of those choices on our lives.  It is for this reason that Joye has compiled a list of topics, both general interest and every day action topics, which she will be addressing with her guests.  As each individual creates unique life shifts, Joye will be recapping the shift experience of each guest so the listening audience may conceptualize the effect of such a shift on their lives.

The theme of the first four shows is on becoming an entrepreneur and the belief shifts that best support you being the successful entrepreneur you can be.  The guests for this series all exemplify how shifting your beliefs can make a difference on your road to successful entrepreneurship.  Guests include James Armstrong, CEO of Spirit Media Network (January 11th), Tim Loomis begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting, Entrepreneur Extraordinaire and Life Coach (January 14th) ,  Eugene Ebner, President of Spirit Media Music (January 21st), and Toni Loomis, Entrepreneur and Business Development Principal of Creative Business Consultants (January 28th).

The Shift Your Belief: Shift Your Life podcast show is found on EnergyOfTheSpirit.com, one of many channels found on Yaktivate.com, a global podcast network.  Yaktivate.com is an internet marketing and podcast network that features podcast shows on channels that reflect a wide range of topics- from music to style and fashion to business strategies and beyond. Yaktivate.com is always on the lookout for new podcasting talent and for businesses that are seeking a way to reach their niche marketing audience in an effective and cost-effective manner.

Joye has shifted her own life through a series of significant, and not so significant, life events including several relocations around the United States, the loss of personal identification due to the death of a spouse, the ending of a career, her own personal reinvention, and the everyday interaction with individuals as she enhances her life coaching business with the publication of her second book and the development of herself as a motivational speaker.

If you, from time to time,  have looked about you and would like to make some changes in your life; if you have an interest in enhancing your life; or if there are others in your life you would like to assist in enhancing their life, you will find this podcasting show to be most supportive and enlightening.

Tune in to Shift Your Beliefs: Shift Your Life at www.energyofthespirit.com , www.theshiftguru.com, or www.spiritmedianetwork.com  to listen to this insightful and perceptive show.  You never know what life shifts you may choose to create based upon insights you glean from those shift made by other individuals.  Joye asks, “Your life is your own to create — why not created as magnificently and powerfully as you possibly can?”

Toro’s interview with Visionary Carmit Bachar highlights her work in creating the non-profit, Smile With Me, for children and adults with cleft palates, something she knows from first-hand experience. Bachar shares the details of her upcoming mission to Peru, her new e-book and her commitment to her new solo music.  Bachar has been around the world performing as a rhythmic gymnast and dancer.  She has been on stage with various rock performers but has been most profoundly impacted by her work with Operation Smile.

During week two, the host checks in with Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas about his former home, The Philippines, and his commitment to giving back through education, history and environment.  Apl is a Filipino-American, hip hop musician and music producer. who is the oldest of seven children.  Toro’s interview highlights his compassion for his homeland and his gratitude for the life he has been able to live in the U.S.  He has founded a non-profit that annually gifts his home community to benefit poor children, and he continues to tell his story artistically in his music, together with the Peas and also as a solo-artist.

Week three Toro chats with Sukh Chugh, founder of Be the Cause, about how to be the cause by being in service.  Recently he took a service vacation to an Indian reservation and shares the story to compel others to work in service.  Toro asks Chugh about his organization’s roots and how he discovered a life of harmony by following Gandhi’s advice, “happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”  Find out more at bethecause.org.
